My good friend Simon pointed out that on Question Time the other night they were discussing the issue of whether Sheffield United should allow their former player Ched Evans to resume training with the club (and maybe even re-sign for them) now that he’s served his prison sentence for raping a girl – a verdict he intends to contest it seems. Hair racing
Well that was a great victory by Lewis Hamilton in the US Grand Prix last week-end wasn’t it? You may also know that in the process Hamilton also overtook Nigel Mansell’s record of most GP wins by a British driver, which he’d held since 1992. Lewis now has 32 victories to Mansell’s 31, with 27 by Jackie Stewart, 25 by Jim Clark and 22 by Damon Hill. Which is quite a feat given that Lewis is just 29 and can hopefully look forward to racing for quite a few years yet.
M&S mess
I’ve got a dozen new postings rattling around in my head and can’t seem to find time to get them written. But I’m just faffing at the moment, watching a repeat of Frasier, and as this is just a quickie and I should be able to get it bashed out before you can say ‘Goodnight Seattle’. Continue reading
