I ask you, can you think of a better month of weather than the May we’ve just experienced? It was almost perfect wasn’t it? I loved it and it made lockdown a lot more bearable. And here we are on the 2 June and it’s already raining with only deteriorating conditions being forecast, sigh. Carol was really busy online with her work and ‘Team’ meetings so I’ve been kicking my heels a bit today in boredom…
First up my desktop needed a big update which took around 3 hours to work through, grrrr. I couldn’t do much before lunch and didn’t fancy traipsing down to Waitrose in the rain nor going for a walk. More sighing. So I had virtual walk through our digitised photo library but it only reminded me how much we’re missing our girls, grandchildren, family and friends. Then just as I was beginning to feel a little bit low I noticed a strange pictorial phenomenom. It seems that I have been accidentally taking pictures of my legs/feet on my iPhone as I’ve been walking around and I’ve gathered together a little library collection to share with you. I bet you can’t wait.
Don’t ask me how or why this has happened but I have quite a few pics looking like this…
Because of the old paving slabs I suspect this is a picture from Italy and those are an old pair of my grey pumps so that would fit. Here’s a shot of the inside of our car which looks incredibly mucky – apologies for this…
Just to show you what an impressive collection of Converse pumps I have here’s a rather blurry shot of my blue ones…
How about a change of footwear; here are my old slippers and this is definitely in our current house…
Back to the Converse and here’s a shot taken around our local lake I think…
Now a shot of my jean-clad knee which means this was taken at least 3 years ago where I’m not sure…
Here’s a pic and I’m wearing shorts and I can just make out my leather man bag so I’m guessing this was a meeting with. a local client or more likely when I was en route to/from an interview with a local business person for the information platform I worked on last year…
Another shot from the Big Apple I think getting ready to take little Noah for a walk…
Finally my favourite pic; this is a shot of me walking across Brooklyn Bridge with Carol when we were living in NYC. You can just make out the waters of the East River through the gaps in the boarding…
Now wasn’t that a fascinating little journey and I swear to you none of those pictures was taken intentionally/deliberately. I know it’s a nonsense subject for a blog and I apologise for its nothingness but I quite like these quirky little moments in life. There’s an accidental charm which appeals to me. Please feel free to send me any accidental images you may have which touch some buttons for you too. Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible folks.
